About
My obsession with creating livable and aesthetically pleasing spaces, combined with a devotion to order and functionality, led me to Domicile.
Domicile was started after many years working professionally in the fields of archiving, photography, film and the arts. As a visual artist, I bring a unique trained eye to professional organizing and interior spacial makeovers. Through my professional experience as a Photo Post Production Director at a major fashion brand and a Digital Archivist at Conde Nast, I specialized in creating archival systems and best practice workflows. I have worked with photographers, artists and smaller organizations to set up optimal workspaces and wrangle photographic negative, print and digital archives. Along with utilizing my own research of the many organizing theories and methods out there, I even moonlighted under a professional organizer, where I learned some of their tools and tricks of the trade.
What all these experiences have in common is creating systems and systems are what make a successful home or business run.
With these skills, I also bring a passion for interior design to create spaces that are aesthetically pleasing yet comfortable that you can’t help but relax in. Having lived in New York City for the past twenty-two years, I personally have experience with small space living. I can show you how to make your place feel like a home, even if you are renting! Wherever you are, whatever size home you have, my goal is to help you create a streamlined yet inviting space that inspires you, relaxes you and energetically creates space to free you so you can focus on what is most important- your life!
